TORONTO (SHfn) – Montana gold was music to the ears of some shareholders Tuesday, while a composite products stock popped on a purchase order. Coronado Resources (TSX: V.CRD , Stock Forum) shares jumped 42% to 34 cents on Tuesday after the micro cap miner reported drill results from its wholly-owned Madison Gold/Copper property near Butte, Montana, which included 45 feet of .741 ounces/ton gold (25.44 grams/tonne). As well, shares of Resin Systems (TSX: T.RS , Stock Forum) moved up 28% to 34 cents as the manufacturer of advanced composite products for infrastructure markets said it has entered into a distribution agreement with HD Supply Utilities, North America's largest electric utilities distributor. Under the agreement, HD Supply Utilities is appointed as the exclusive distributor of RStandard poles within the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas and all of the Caribbean Islands. The agreement is for an initial term of five years and may be renewed for additional terms. The agreement includes an initial purchase order for RStandard poles with a value exceeding US$100 million over the first half of the initial term. Royal Laser (TSX: T.RLC , Stock Forum), meanwhile, reported that it received an unsolicited to acquire all of the company's outstanding common shares. The non-binding offer is subject to various conditions, including due diligence and the sale of Royal Laser's non-core assets consisting of Royal Laser Manufacturing, WAM Industries, Smokey Manufacturing, Thunder Tool, and Envyrozone. The offer is for $30 million, or about 31 cents per Royal Laser common share. Royal Laser stock popped 24% to 28 cents. Shares of Sirit (TSX: T.SI , Stock Forum) climbed 13% to 17 cents after the provider of radio frequency identification technology and 3M Brazil announced their collaboration with Dbtrans to introduce an electronic payment process for commercial truck and passenger tolling in the state of Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil. A recent Brazilian federal government resolution enables the planned conversion by Dbtrans from the current credit voucher process into an electronic payment system to proceed. And, Teryl Resources (TSX: V.TRC , Stock Forum) Tuesday reported that Teryl Inc., a 100% subsidiary of Teryl Resources Corp., has received a letter of intent for the acquisition of its interest in the Gil Joint Venture Gold Property in Alaska, from its Joint Venture Partner, Fairbanks Gold Mining Inc., a subsidiary of Kinross Gold. Its shares powered 37% higher to 31.5 cents.
